Mukesh Ambani’s Business Investment Timeline
- 1977: Reliance goes public. While Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh’s father started reliance industries, It was Mukesh that did much of the work to take it public.
- 1981: Mukesh Ambani joined Reliance Industries, contributing significantly to its growth. He left Stanford University to join his father.
- 1990s: He played a pivotal role in the backward integration of Reliance into petrochemicals, focusing on large-scale manufacturing facilities.
